China stocks close down Wednesday

BEIJING - Chinese shares fell on Wednesday with the benchmark Shanghai Composite Index down 1.11 percent, or 30.72 points, to close at 2,728.48.

The Shenzhen Component Index dropped 1.11 percent, or 133.89 points, to finish at 11,913.2.
