Hushen 300 Index (Chinese: 滬深300指數(shù)) is an index jointly issued by Shanghai and Shenzhen Stock Exchanges on April 8, 2005 to reflect the A share market as a whole. It has a comprehensive market representation, and it can veritably represent the stock price fluctuation in Chinese stock market.
The base period is December 31, 2004 and the base point is 1000.
