China's stocks close up Wednesday

BEIJING - Chinese shares rose for a second consecutive day Wednesday with the benchmark Shanghai Composite Index edging up 0.07 percent, or 2.10 points, to close at 3,003.95.

The Shenzhen Component Index climbed 1.23 percent, or 159.81 points, to finish at 13,130.01.
