China to publicize details of stimulus package expenditures

Chinese government will accept personal requests from the public for detailed expenditures of the country's four-trillion-yuan ($586 billion) stimulus package, said a government official on Sunday.

Mu Hong, vice minister of the National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC), said the commission would release information about the expenditures on its website and people could also request specific information of the plan by phone, fax and e-mail.
