AIU boosts travel delay insurance

Most American International Underwriters (AIU)'s travel insurance products cover against travel delays or travel cancellations caused by natural disasters, such as earthquakes. Policyholders will be compensated if flights or steamboats delays over four hours because of adverse weather, natural disasters, mechanical failure, strikes or hijackings. Customers should ask related companies to issue a written certificate for the delay, facilitating claim procedures.
