Shares jump 4.15% led by financial rally

Chinese shares surged 4.15 percent on Wednesday by a rally in financial, metal and mining stocks.

The benchmark Shanghai Composite Index, which covers both A and B shares, closed up 4.15 percent, or 130.54 points to 3,278.33 on Wednesday.

The Shenzhen Component Index added 5.45 percent to 11,784.15.

Aggregate turnover reached 120 billion yuan (about $17.1 billion), up from 86.60 billion yuan on Tuesday.
