China to establish auto beautification regulations

The China Automobile Dealers Association (CADA) recently held a meeting to discuss the establishment of the Auto Beautification and Decoration Management Specification, China's first regulation on auto beautification.
Representatives from the world's leading automobile accessories retailers including Yellow Hat, Nielsen and Bascc, attended the meeting.
China's auto decoration market capacity has reached nearly 100 billion yuan (US$12.63 billion), with an auto audio system market reaching over 10 billion yuan (US$1.26 billion), the explosion-resistant film market and automotive perfume markets are at nearly 10 billion yuan (US$1.26 billion), according to Chen Dongsheng, deputy secretary general of the association.
