Gamesa, Spain's largest wind power generator, announced its first wind-power plant has gone into operation. The plant is located in North China's Tianjin Municipality, with a production capacity of 820 complete sets of wind power equipment.

Gamesa invested six million euros (US$7.61 million) on the 100,000-square meter Tianjn plant. It is Gamesa's second overseas project.
