Chinese nuclear power companies to share big market

Updated: 2006-09-25 09:34 Many people regard the next 10 years as the spring of nuclear power. As planned, China's nuclear power capacity will reach 40 gigawatts by 2020, and investment will reach 300 billion yuan (US$37.75 billion), with 150 billion yuan spent on equipment. It will be a promising market for domestic companies if they can produce 70 percent of nuclear power equipment, said sources. Currently, more than 80 enterprises are certified to design and build and another 80 enterprises are applying for certification. ......
