American Dairy Inc, a producer and distributor of milk powder and soybean products in China, said it has closed the second round of the sale of its 1.0 percent guaranteed senior secured convertible notes due 2012, raising 20 million US dollars.

The firm completed the first round on June 1, selling 60.0 million US dollars of notes.

The Chinese firm did not clarify how the funds would be utilized.
