Beijing residents have highest monthly income

The National Bureau of Statistics of China has released October statistics for income and expenses of individuals across China.

The average monthly income for a Chinese person is 1058.89 yuan per person and the average monthly income budgeted is 977.56 yuan per person. Ten provinces, autonomous regions, and cities have an average monthly income over 1000 yuan per person. Beijing residents have the highest monthly income of all, averaging 1878.32 yuan per month.
