Balda AG, the world's second-largest maker of plastic mobile phone components, will invest in a second venture in China in as many months to add customers such as camera manufacturers.

Balda has signed a contract to acquire 60 percent of a venture with Taiwan-based AVY Precision Technology Inc that makes metal parts and die-cast components used in products including cameras, the Germany-based company said.
