Last year, the company exported approximately 16,000 units to over 30 countries, generating nearly 100 million yuan ($14.5 million) in revenue. This year, they aim to boost sales to 20,000 units. "If we don't go global, we'll be kicked out of the market," said Tian Xiangfei, the company's executive deputy general manager.
The strategic shift to international markets was driven by a sharp decline in domestic demand in 2022. In response, Tian and his team embarked on trips to the Middle East and Africa to better understand local needs, leading to a revamp of their strategy.
