Inner Mongolia opens Ereenhot–Moscow international postal route
A postal truck carrying 9,068 kilograms of cargo on March 16 departed from the Ereenhot International Mail Exchange Bureau in North China's Inner Mongolia autonomous region, bound for Moscow.
The launch of the Ereenhot–Moscow international postal route marks a significant step forward in cross-border logistics cooperation among China, Mongolia, and Russia.
Following the normalization of the Ereenhot–Novosibirsk land mail route, the new corridor represents another milestone in advancing northbound opening-up and strengthening international delivery capacity.
Adhering to an integrated road-rail transport model, the route provides direct access to Moscow while extending service coverage across the Russian Federation.
Designed to handle the full range of outbound land-based mail, the route enhances operational resilience by mitigating the impact of seasonal and weather-related disruptions. With an end-to-end transit time of approximately 15 days, it substantially improves the timeliness and reliability of deliveries to Russia.
As a strategic logistics channel linking China and Russia, the route establishes a more efficient and stable postal bridge for bilateral trade. It is expected to bolster Inner Mongolia's investment environment by providing robust logistics support and facilitating the high-quality growth of cross-border e-commerce.
