Belgian business leader Dewit expresses confidence in China's economic growth

On Thursday, Premier Li Qiang delivered the Government Work Report at the Fourth Session of the 14th National People's Congress, stating that GDP grew by 5% in 2025. He also proposed a target of keeping GDP growth within a reasonable range during the 15th Five-Year Plan (2026-30) period.
In an exclusive interview with China Daily, Bernard Dewit, President of the Belgian-Chinese Chamber of Commerce, said that as R&D investment continues to increase, the Chinese economy has shown strong resilience, and he has full confidence that the economy will continue to grow steadily.
