As major players in the Asia-Pacific, the China-Australia partnership can mitigate risks from trade wars and economic decoupling, fostering diversified supply chains in critical sectors like clean energy and biotech, said Warwick Powell, an adjunct professor at Australia's Queensland University of Technology. China provides Australia with vast market access, advanced tech know-how, and investment capital, while Australia offers high-quality raw materials, a stable regulatory environment, and innovative agricultural practices, he said.
