Annual Shanghai-Taipei City Forum set for December

SHANGHAI -- The annual Shanghai-Taipei City Forum will open on Dec 28 in Shanghai, aiming to promote cooperation and exchanges on urban development.
This year's event will feature discussions and experience-sharing in healthcare, transportation and other technology-driven sectors, according to the Shanghai Municipal Government.
New memorandums are expected to be signed during the event, further strengthening ties and collaboration between the two cities.
Established in 2010 and hosted alternately by Shanghai and Taipei, the forum has served as an important platform for dialogue to enhance cross-Strait connections. To date, the two cities have signed 47 memorandums on exchange and cooperation.
