BEIJING -- China and France agreed on Thursday to launch a new round of cooperation on giant panda protection.
President Xi Jinping and French President Emmanuel Macron jointly met the press after their talks in Beijing, with Xi saying that both sides agreed to deepen exchanges and cooperation in culture, education, science and technology, and subnational areas, and launch a new round of cooperation in the protection of giant pandas.
