Kangde Egg Industry Co and Tiancheng Egg Industry Co from Hai'an, Nantong, have recently obtained registration qualifications of the European Union (EU). This means that Hai'an egg products can now be sold in the EU, transforming it from a regional specialty into internationally recognized brands. 

Hai'an now boasts 21 modern poultry farms, forming an industrial cluster with an annual stock of 17 million laying hens, producing over 700 metric tons of fresh eggs daily. Advanced technology enables one person to manage 120,000 hens via a smartphone. 

In addition to advanced industrial clusters, Hai'an's egg industry has earned international recognition through consistent quality. On the production side, the city has established a solid foundation for quality with feed screening and environmental monitoring. In the processing stage, it has introduced advanced technologies such as Italian pasteurization and ultrasonic liquid cell reconstruction. 

Moreover, Hai'an has not contented itself with traditional egg processing but actively pursued high-end value-added opportunities. Kangde Egg Industry achieved breakthroughs through innovative R&D, extracting bioactive substances such as lysozyme and egg yolk immunoglobulins from eggs, which are widely applied in pharmaceutical and health supplement industries. 

From the Yellow Sea coast to global markets, Hai'an egg products exemplify how China's modern agriculture is gaining global competitiveness through industrial upgrading and quality commitment.
