A China-Central Asia freight train loaded with refrigerators, washing machines, televisions, and auto parts departed from the Tianjin Container Center Station on Oct 13, bound for Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan via Horgos Port.

The train, now part of a scheduled route operating once a week, marks the regularization of Tianjin–Central Asia rail service.

As a key outcome of the SCO Tianjin Summit, the new route strengthens connectivity with Central Asian countries by providing a stable and efficient logistics channel. The train carried?55 40-foot containers and will complete the journey in about 10 days.

To ensure smooth operations, the Tianjin Container Center Station and the railway logistics center have adopted measures such as priority loading, real-time monitoring, and fast customs clearance.

In the first three quarters of this year, Tianjin operated 284 China-Europe and China-Central Asia freight trains,?a 40 percent year-on-year increase, further boosting international trade and supporting the export of manufacturing goods from the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region.
