China Festival 2025 in Tokyo showcases cultural exchanges

The two-day China Festival 2025 at Yoyogi Park in Tokyo on Sept 6–7 attracted many visitors to experience Chinese cuisine, other traditional culture, and the charm of Chinese cities.
Watanabe Makiko, a Japanese illustrator who has lived in Shanghai for nearly 20 years, has created many illustrations combining pandas with Shanghai's iconic architecture and cuisine. She said that Japanese people are very fond of pandas, and she hopes the panda's image can be spread more widely to promote friendship between China and Japan.
