The China-Russia-Mongolia International Tourism Promotion Conference on the "Ten-Thousand Mile Tea Road" was held on Aug 26 in Hohhot, North China's Inner Mongolia autonomous region, attracting more than 400 participants from China, Russia, Mongolia, and Kazakhstan.

At the event, Moscow and Kazan were announced as new members of the China-Russia-Mongolia International Tourism Alliance on the "Ten-Thousand Mile Tea Road", bringing the total membership to 26 across the three countries.

Founded in 2016 by tourism authorities along the historic Tea Road, the alliance has grown from 12 founding members to 26, including nine from China, 10 from Russia, and seven from Mongolia.

Looking ahead, Inner Mongolia plans to further deepen cultural and tourism cooperation with Russia and Mongolia, using the alliance as a platform to strengthen brand-building, route promotion, and product development under the "Ten-Thousand Mile Tea Road" initiative.
