Flash flood in Inner Mongolia claims 12 lives, 1 survives

A recent mountain flood in western Inner Mongolia autonomous region has killed a total of 12 people, China Central Television reported on Friday.
The flash flood occurred in the upper reaches of a river in Urad Rear Banner, Bayannuur, on Saturday, sweeping away 13 campers.
After days of rescue efforts, the remains of the last missing individual were found around 8 am on Friday, according to local emergency management authorities.
The sole survivor is receiving treatment at hospital and is in stable condition.
