Academician Ji Xunming named president and deputy Party secretary

Ji Xunming, an academician at the Chinese Academy of Engineering and a prominent neurosurgeon, has been named president and deputy Party secretary of the Chinese Academy of Medical Sciences and Peking Union Medical College.
Ji, 55, has served as vice-president and president of Capital Medical University previously.
The Chinese Academy of Medical Sciences and Peking Union Medical College is the nation's leading medical research and medical education institution.
