The Sanhuqiao Bookstore is a vanguard of volunteers in Zizhuyuan sub-district. It hosts activities on special occasions, such as World Book and Copyright Day and traditional Chinese festivals.
Since its opening last year, the Sanhuqiao Bookstore has witnessed over 500 volunteers joining from other districts, including Dongcheng and Shijingshan. They have served over 15,000 residents and received over 10,000 books through the community book drifting initiative.
During the weekend's event, Zizhuyuan sub-district unveiled its mascot, Zixiaoxi, and the Citywalk cultural map of the area.
