A procurement memorandum was signed between Eastern Air Logistics Co and seafood supplier Ferguson Australia on April 11 in Adelaide, Australia, adding South Australian product portfolio into the freight unit under parent company China Eastern Air Holding.

Australia has been an important source of fresh products imports for Eastern Air Logistics since 2013, ranging from salmon, wine, mineral water, manuka honey to chilled steak and cherries.

Thanks to China Eastern's aviation network, Australian products can be delivered to more than 80 percent of Chinese consumers within 12 hours after customs clearance by Eastern Air Logistics.
