Danish official lauds China's advancements through innovation

China has come a long way from primarily being a production and an agricultural-based country to being a technologically and highly advanced society, said Christina Egelund, Danish Minister for Higher Education and Science, in a recent interview with China Daily.
Christina expressed that decades ago, China was a traditional agricultural and manufacturing powerhouse. Today, with its continuous significant investments in technological innovation and scientific research, China is advancing toward becoming a global technological leader.
