Mushahid Hussain Sayed, chairman of the Pakistan-China Institute, hailed the initiatives launched by President Xi Jinping, calling the Belt and Road Initiative as the "most important" diplomatic and developmental endeavor of the 21st century. He made the comments on the sidelines of the 2024 Understanding China Conference (Guangzhou).
