Well-being boosted in Wuhan through 'sports + entertainment'

Currently, the country is calling on all of its regions to elevate the people's well-being and raise their quality of life in various ways, and seeing the opportunities, a lot of foreign firms are joining in the drive for a better quality of life.

A total of 42,108 new foreign-invested firms were established across China in the first nine months of 2024, up 11.4 percent year-on-year, according to the Ministry of Commerce.

During this period, foreign direct investment (FDI) in the Chinese mainland in actual use totaled 640.6 billion yuan ($90.1 billion), down 30.4 percent from a year earlier, the ministry said.
