China Coast Guard takes control measures against a Philippine vessel

The China Coast Guard said on Sunday that it had taken "control measures" against a Philippine vessel that illegally intruded into waters near Xianbin Reef in the Nansha Islands of China.
Without permission from the Chinese government, the Philippine vessel No 3002 persistently engaged in dangerous maneuvers as it approached Chinese Coast Guard vessels conducting normal navigation missions, China Coast Guard said in a terse statement on its WeChat account.
