A job fair for university graduates was held at Yunnan Minzu University, in Southwest China's Yunnan province on Wednesday, according to news portal ynet.com.

The fair offered around 4,000 jobs from 318 social organizations and member enterprises from across the province, attracting more than 10,000 graduates in the province.

The job positions cover over 20 industries including education, finance, health care, pharmaceutical, medicine, trade, securities, water conservancy, environmental protection and engineering construction.

"I majored in secretary. Many companies at this fair offer suitable positions, I have reached preliminary intentions with several companies on site, and can start the interview recently," said Ji Xin, a senior student at Yunnan Minzu University.

"In the past, our company mainly recruited online. This offline recruitment fair is larger in scale, has a wider impact, and offers a better effect for our recruitment," said Wang Yaping, a recruitment staff member attending the fair.
