The Shanxi Chinese Style Culture Week kicked off at the Qiao Family Courtyard scenic area in Jinzhong city in North China's Shanxi province, on April 26, to present people with a cultural feast during the upcoming May Day holiday from May 1 to 5.

New tourism policies were launched at the opening ceremony, covering catering, accommodation, transportation, travel, shopping and entertainment in 11 cities across the province, and five Chinese cultural routes were released, allowing visitors to be immersed in Shanxi's long history and beautiful landscapes.

Meanwhile, themed activities at four scenic areas, namely the Qiao Family Courtyard, House of the Huangcheng Chancellor, Taiyuan Ancient County, and Xinzhou Ancient City, have also been launched.

At the site, various traditional cultural programs and activities, such as crosstalk, block printing, hanfu fashion shows, folk dough modeling, and calligraphy experiences allowed visitors to fully experience traditional Chinese culture.
