Hebei Museum in Shijiazhuang, Hebei province was recently selected as one of the top 5 most liked museums by netizens, with a 195 percent increase in followers for its account on the Douyin video-sharing platform, according to the museum.
Throughout the year, the account gained more than 36,000 new followers, and videos featuring relics such as the "Jade Burial Suit Sewn with Gold Thread" and the "Chang Xin Palace Lamp" were listed in the top 10 most viewed cultural relic videos of the year, according to a recent report by Douyin and China Cultural Relics News, as cited by the museum.
