Making lanterns dates back to more than two thousand years in China. It is a very important folk tradition to make and appreciate lanterns during the Spring Festival. On the occasion of the Year of the Dragon, China Daily Multimedia invited four foreign students from Belarus, Comoros, Egypt and Yemen to the Old City Museum in Tianjin to learn how to make Spring Festival lanterns.
