Influenced by her Chinese grandfather from an early age, Phayakham pursued her education at Yunnan University and, after graduating with outstanding achievements, has since rooted herself in Yunnan, where she became a Thai language teacher at Yunnan University of Finance and Economics. By chance, she met and fell in love with her husband while studying traditional Chinese culture. This video, narrated by Phayakham Sutarat herself, recounts her journey of learning traditional Chinese culture in Kunming, witnessing the implementation and practice of the Belt and Road Initiative and China's remarkable achievements in poverty alleviation.
