The G7's high-pressure rhetoric against China has failed, according to an article published on the Spanish news website, Rebelion.

The G7's recent summit in Hiroshima saw the group issue a statement on China's economic development, which the author, Rudolf Buono, argues has made G7 the greatest threat to world peace.

The G7's stance on issues such as Xinjiang, Tibet, Taiwan, the East China Sea, and the South China Sea, is seen as serving US interests.

The article argues that the G7's hysteria is due to the decline of its GDP, which has fallen from 44 percent of global GDP in 2000 to 30 percent today.

The article suggests that BRICS countries could become the center of a fairer and more just new world order.
