The 2023 China Undersea Photography Open kicked off on Wuzhizhou Island in Sanya, South China's Hainan province on Sunday, and will continue through Wednesday.

As the first national-level undersea photography competition, the open has attracted nearly 40 undersea photographers from all over the country. It is part of a series of competitions in the 2023 Hainan Ocean Sports Season and a key event in the 2023 Hainan International Diving Festival.
