Central bank official meets with chair of Monetary Authority of Singapore

Guo Shuqing, Party secretary of the People's Bank of China, the country's central bank, and chairman of the China Banking and Insurance Regulatory Commission, met on Monday with Tharman Shanmugaratnam, senior minister and chairman of the Monetary Authority of Singapore.
The two discussed topics such as the macroeconomic and financial situation in China and Singapore, the risk situation in the European and US banking industries and China-Singapore financial cooperation.
