Heart-stopping high swing brings thrills to Zhangjiajie

Extreme sports enthusiasts participated in a dizzying swing challenge on high lines between cliffs in Wulingyuan scenic area in Zhangjiajie, Hunan province.
From Monday to Thursday, 50 people did the extreme swing, which spans 691 meters and involves a heart-stopping drop of 335 meters.
Wulingyuan, which is on UNESCO's World Natural Heritage list, has many unique pillar-like formations and mountains that appear to float. Taking advantage of its landscape, Zhangjiajie holds various extreme activities year round and works to enrich its cultural and tourism business.
