Fifth CIIE promotes equipment, technology exhibition Release date: 2022-06-20 Source:China International Import Expo Bureau
An online promotional event for the intelligent equipment and information technology exhibition area of the fifth China International Import Expo was held on June 14.
According to Song Shangzhe, assistant president of the National Exhibition and Convention Center (Shanghai), the venue for the CIIE, the organizers will attract more industry players to the exhibition and facilitate cooperation between exhibitors and purchasers.
Takashi Furugori, managing director of Amada China, a Japanese metalworking equipment supplier, said the company has reserved its largest exhibition space ever at the fifth CIIE and will showcase its latest products and technologies.
Shane Sun from the Shanghai Representative Office of German Machine Tool Builders' Association (VDW) then presented the universal machine technology interface, which is operated by VDW and the Mechanical Engineering Industry Association (VDMA) and can facilitate data exchange between machines, components and installations and their integration into customer and user-specific IT ecosystems.
Zhao Lijin, assistant secretary-general at the China Society of Automotive Engineers, gave an introduction about China's new energy vehicle industry and related policies, as well as analyzed major challenges the industry is facing.
Shanghai Waigaoqiao Free Trade Zone Group Co, a partner of the CIIE, will leverage its strengths in logistics and favorable policies to provide services to CIIE exhibitors and buyers, said Zhang Hao, deputy general manager of the group.
