Wang Aifu spent nearly three decades helping over 40 martyrs find their relatives across the country.

Wang, 82, who was born in Zuoquan county, Shanxi province, joined the military at the age of 18. After his retirement in 1981, he became a procurator in the county.

From then on, every Qingming Festival (Tomb Sweeping Day), he goes to the martyrs' memorial cemetery to mourn the fallen heroes. He also began to collect memorabilia about the War to Resist US Aggression and Aid Korea (1950-53), including documentary materials and various objects.
