Li says govt will use all resources to boost high-quality opening-up
China will make full use of international and domestic markets and resources, continue to expand international economic and trade cooperation, and push for in-depth reform and high-quality development by promoting high-standard opening-up, Chinese Premier Li Keqiang said on Saturday.
In a Government Work Report delivered at the opening of the fifth session of the 13th National People's Congress, Li said the nation will take multiple measures to stabilize foreign trade.
Those measures include expanding coverage of export credit insurance on small, medium, and micro-sized foreign trade enterprises, accelerating development of new foreign trade formats, proactively increasing imports of high-quality products and services, and innovatively developing services trade and digital trade.
He also said the nation will actively utilize foreign investment. It will ensure the deep implementation of the negative lists for foreign investment, and effectively provide national treatment for foreign-funded enterprises.
