BEIJING - Shenzhen Aviators center Shen Zijie was named the Chinese Basketball Association (CBA) Player of the Week on Monday.

Shen helped Shenzhen complete a 3-0 week between the 11th and 13th rounds of matches with an average of 17.7 points, 11.7 rebounds, 4 assists and 3.7 blocks.

Shen's triumph in the weekly award was helped by his perfect shooting performance over the past four matches.

With the first stage of the regular season having concluded on Sunday, Shenzhen ranks third of 20 teams with a 11-2 win-loss record after a seven-game winning streak. Enditem
