China Daily's Edgar Snow Newsroom is a new project exploring China's story in greater detail.
In the latest release, Ian Goodrum, a reporter and member of the newsroom, makes a special visit to Shougang Industrial Park, where the Beijing 2022 Winter Olympics organizing committee is based. He was received by a special guide — Yang Yang, China's first Winter Olympic gold medalist and chairwoman of the Beijing 2022 Athletes' Commission. Together, they discuss the upcoming Winter Olympics and what it means for her country and people.
