The Red Cross Society of China donated 100,000 COVID-19 vaccines to Cambodia on Monday to assist in the local fight against the pandemic.

The batch of vaccines made by State-owned Sinopharm left Beijing on Sunday and arrived at Phnom Penh, capital of Cambodia, on Monday, the society said.

Chinese Ambassador to Cambodia Wang Wentian and Cambodian Red Cross President Bun Rany attended the handover ceremony held at the Phnom Penh International Airport.
