Death toll rises to 58 in China's rain-ravaged Henan

The death toll from the torrential rain in Central China's Henan province has risen to 58, with five people still reported missing, the regional government said on Saturday afternoon.
Among the casualties, 56 are in Zhengzhou, capital of Henan, where all of the missing persons are reported, the regional government said at a news conference.
So far, more than 811,900 people have been evacuated to safe areas while about 1.14 million others have been resettled due to record-breaking heavy rainfall that started on July 16 and associated floods.
Meanwhile, about 734,600 hectares of crops have been damaged, the regional government said.
