BEIJING - Senior Communist Party of China (CPC) official Huang Kunming on Thursday called for efforts to provide high-quality and efficient media services during CPC centenary celebrations.

Huang, a member of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee and head of the Publicity Department of the CPC Central Committee, made the remarks when inspecting the media center for the celebration activities of the Party's 100th anniversary in Beijing.

The celebration activities have received global attention and are highly anticipated by all, noted Huang, calling on journalists to showcase the complete and detailed picture of the celebrations.

Huang also urged the workers at the media center to support the journalists' work, address their different needs and help organize press conferences, interviews and other media activities.

The media center will be put into operation on June 26.
