ABUJA - Nigeria will resume international flights on Aug 29 after months of shutdown, Aviation Minister Hadi Sirika announced Monday.

The resumption of international flights would be similar to that of domestic flights, Sirika said.

Residents and citizens should be patient while the ban on international flights remains in force, the minister said, adding that the protocols and procedures for the resumption would be announced in due course.
