Iran's Mohammadi cancels contract with Aves

TEHRAN- Iranian winger Mehrdad Mohammadi has terminated his contract with Portuguese side Desportivo Aves due to financial problems, Tasnim news agency reported on Wednesday.
The 29-year-old joined Aves last year from Iranian outfit Sepahan.
According to Mohammadi, the Portuguese club has not paid him his salary for the past three months.
Mohammadi scored eight goals and laid on five assists in 28 appearances for Aves.
