Recent years have witnessed a growing presence of Chinese artists in this international poster competition.
In 2018, two Chinese designers, Fu Yongkang and Li Huizhou, were awarded gold medals in different categories. Fu’s piece Living Space, which powerfully revealed the harmful impact of plastic pollution on marine life, won first place in the environmental category; while Li’s work Paper’s Attitude was recognized as the best piece in the cultural communication category.
